The purpose of this Charter is to inform users about the conditions under which BUT International collects and processes their personal data when they use the website https://recrute.but.fr.
DATA CONTROLLER
We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by the Act of August 6, 2004. The personal data you provide to us when you register on our Site or use the Site are collected by BUT International, a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €131,772,276.25, whose registered office is in Emerainville (77184), registered with the Meaux Trade and Companies Register under number 772 041 860.
Each legal entity of the BUT Group to which you apply through the Site will also process, as a data controller, the data collected as part of the study of your application, under their own responsibility, and only for the purpose of studying your application or to propose job offers that may be of interest to you, under conditions similar to those mentioned in this article “Use of your personal data.”
FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
By providing us with your personal data, you accept their use by the Site, for the following purposes:
To study your application and process it,
To transmit your application to the BUT Group entities present on the Site,
To include you in our candidate pool so that you may be contacted by BUT International for job offers,
To conduct studies based on your data, in order to better understand you,
To personalize our responses and, more broadly, the services and information we may provide to you,
To measure the audience of the Site, by analyzing the number of pages viewed, the number of visitors to the Site, their activity on the Site, etc.,
To ensure the security of the Site, or to comply with our applicable legal and regulatory obligations,
To allow you to geolocate our offers closest to your location (geolocation) after obtaining your express consent.
Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory for us to process your application, and other data are collected automatically through the system set up to provide the services offered by the Site.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
The data collected and processed include, among others, your names, first names, postal and email addresses, and the information that appears on your CV. This collection has been declared to the CNIL (No. 1688556v0). We would like to clarify that, as part of the use of the Site, we collect information about the origin of connections (access providers, type and version of the browser used, browsing history). Under no circumstances do we collect visitors’ email addresses without them deliberately providing them to us. The connection data allows us to better understand the use of the different pages of the Site and to improve the provision of services and their relevance.
In this regard, it is specified that the processing of your data by the companies of the BUT Group is not intended to make decisions that have legal effects on you solely based on automated processing or to evaluate certain aspects of your personality within the meaning of Article 10(2) of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to information technology, files, and freedoms.

You also agree that the Site may communicate your personal data to any legal entity of the BUT Group present on the Site for the purpose of processing your application or so that they may contact you in case a job offer may suit you. It is hereby specified that the data transmitted to the different entities of the BUT Group will be processed by them, under their own responsibility, and solely for the purpose of studying your application or for proposing job offers that may be of interest to you, under conditions similar to those mentioned in this article “Use of your personal data.”
YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE DATA COLLECTED ABOUT YOU
In accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by the Act of August 6, 2004, you have the right to access, rectify, and object to the processing of your personal data.

Your requests for access rights must be signed and accompanied by proof of identity, on which your signature is affixed, and must include the necessary information for us to respond to them.
